I dont know weather to use my main data or my DLC data from which the hero of fereldin runs off with Morrigan into the mirror. The reason being is my main data has 24 hrs of gameplay and my DLC data has like an hour so idk if the choices i made in the main game carried over to Witch Hunt.If i use my DLC imported data from witch hunt. Does the story still playout the same in Dragon age 2?
As long as you kept carrying your file forward into each download that you played, all of your decisions will follow through including the ones from Witch Hunt. There should be a button that you can press on the file and it will tell you the decisions that you made, kind of a recap feature.

Like what Draco said, it really depends on what you prefer. I own both the games but if you were to buy Dragon Age, I think you meant Dragon Age II not Origins. Dragon Age is kind of a mix of RPG and action and you can actually pause the game and order what character should do what skills so I would say Dragon Age is kind of for people who want to slowly plan what to do. The graphics for Dragon Age Origins are really a bit weird but Dragon Age II has improved a lot. The storyline is really a bit hard to understand in Origins but Dragon Age II has a storyline thats quite easy to understand, although Dragon Age II has a really short one. The DLC's for Origins finished with the Witch Hunt (confirmed) but Dragon Age II's DLCs are just getting started. StarCraft 2 is a really fast paced game, you need to think fast and try not waste your resources. The game is kind of like rock-paper-scissors, one type of unit can defeat this other unit while it loses to a different one. StarCraft 2's storyline is a bit awkward if you didn't understand the first game and its really hard to go on multiplayer. The people on multiplayer mode are so good that you would lose within 5 minutes if your unlucky. The graphics for this game are really impressive, so impressive that most computers has to lower the settings in order to play it.....

Nothing has been announced. My guess is they are waiting for the holidays to pass. There were a lot of big game releases this month and in December their Star Wars MMO comes out. I'm hoping that the next reveal is a full expansion.

Dragon Age DLC's continuation?
I have already finished Dragon Age Origins. I recently acquired these DLC's of Dragon Age:
* Dragon Age Awakenings
* Return to Ostagar
* Golems of Amgarrak
* Witch Hunt
After playing these I will import my complete save to Dragon Age 2.
I know there is some way to import my save file to each of those, but i do not know in what order I should play it.
So, my question is: In what order should I play those DLC's ?
Should I play Origins %26gt; Return to Ost. %26gt; Awakening %26gt; Golems of Amgarrak %26gt; Witch Hunt ??
Or different ?Dragon Age DLC's continuation?

Corrupt DLC Dragon Age 2?
So, I purchased the Signature Edition of DA2, therefore it came with DLC and extra bonuses with it. For downloading the DLC, I had to go to a friend's house because I did not have a wireless adapter at the time. He said to make an xbox live account so I can download it onto my harddrive. I brought my harddrive over, put it into his xbox 360, and I used the redeem codes to redeem the extra DLC. We checked it, it worked, we were done.
Now, when I took it back home, I tried playing it again, and it said it was corrupted DLC and I could not play my saved games from before, and it said it must be redownloaded. So, I borrowed a wireless adapter from someone and tried redownloading it. Still wouldn't work. It would only work on the random xbox live account I created to download it with, but that's not my main profile, it's a random account I made with xbox live. I heard you have to have a license transfer for me to be able to play it again from my main profile, but that would mean doing a license transfer for all of my friend's other content from his xbox to mine.
Is there some way I could fix this without having to buy the DLC to play it? I've tried everything I could think of. For my friend, he had no idea what I could do, because he thought all of this would work out just fine the way I did it.Corrupt DLC Dragon Age 2?
As far as I know, transferring content licenses only works from console to console.
So, for example if you download a DLC on one console and get a new one you can transfer the licenses so that you can re-download all of the content on to the new console.
This does not apply to gamertags unfortunately. You can't transfer content licenses from one gamertag to another.

As far as I know, transferring content licenses only works from console to console.
So, for example if you download a DLC on one console and get a new one you can transfer the licenses so that you can re-download all of the content on to the new console.
This does not apply to gamertags unfortunately. You can't transfer content licenses from one gamertag to another.
Unfortunately I don't think there is any way for you to download the DLC onto your main profile now that it is assigned to the random one.

So I was comparing achievements with my friend, when I went to Dragon age 2 and there are about five or six achievements that are for an unavailable DLC? I'm really bored, so i just thought i'd share something, DLCs, im sure many people who have played DAO played Awakening,
Bioware is almost certainly going to make a DLC similar to Awakening for DA2, and i have to confess im a bit disappointed, Bioware is getting greedy, with the way DA2 ended they NEED to make a DLC (either that or a third game, and i dont want to wait another 2 or 3 years for that, when DA2 wasnt even long) i have nothing against DLCs, but in this case its unfair, it feels like they released one half of the game and are going to release the next half later.

hey I just got dragon age two and the online pass that came with it witch includes in game special armor and a big sword. Anyways before I started using any of the DLC equipment everything seemed to be perfect as far as how challenging it was (I have the difficulty set to normal) but soon as I started using the DLC equipment it felt like I was way to powerful and their wasn't much a challenge, what I'm wondering is will it stay this way through most of the game? ( if so I'm just not going to use the DLC stuff) or will the enemies become harder to beat even with the DLC equipment?....Dragon Age 2 DLC question?
If you are talking about the class specific item packs those are kind of overpowered. The game does not scale up the difficulty with them in mind. You will have to try out the hard or nightmare settings if you want more of a challenge.

i have the pc version of the game so i don't know if there is any difference. But as far as i know you should have a talent that summons your mabari. You don't have to do anything to get that skill you already have when you start the game.

Should i get dragon age 2 legacy dlc?

I liked Legacy. It adds to the plot, you get a customizable weapon, and the boss battle at the end is pretty cool. Gameplay wise, it's better than Mark of the Assassin, though MotA has a better narrative.
The only other substantial DLC is the exiled prince. It gives you a new companion who is a very useful archer and is well integrated in to the story.

So awhile back I beat Dragon Age 2 (for Xbox) with the Exiled Prince DLC installed. At the time I was playing, the DLC glitch still had not been fixed (I did not get the achievements for giving Sebastian the heirloom and what not). When I learned that to fix the glitch, I first had to erase the DLC then re-install it, I was fine with that. So I went through: deleted and re-installed.
Does this mean that my first completed play through has no memory of Sebastian at all (I went to my squad menu and he wasn't in it with the rest of the characters. Not even blacked out or anything, just gone)?

I downloaded the exiled prince dlc during act three of the main storyline does this mean that I have missed the chance to gain some of the achievements??? This really sucks if I have to start another play through just for some dlc achievements. You have to start a new game. Act 3 is too late to recruit Sebastian and you can't complete his quests after the end of the game like you could in Origins. You will meet him in act 1, just go to the Chanter's board.

They have unofficially stated that they are starting production for DA3, so if any of the "guys upstairs" said, "stop anymore advancements with DA2 and start looking to the future" we won't see anything. If this is true, I will bet money on it that when ME3 comes out you will see an advertisement for DA3, as we saw in the DA2 case for ME3.

The writing and dialogue are excellent. I think this is probably the most humorous quest line in the whole game. Tallis is a pretty interesting character and you learn more about the Qunari. So if story and lore are important to you, you will like this DLC.
Gameplay is just average though, it's pretty much exactly like the rest of the game. None of the fights are particularly difficult, at least once you figure out a strategy. The puzzles are pretty simple too. I found the stealth option to be kind of tedious, but that's a matter of taste and it's optional.
Really it comes down to what you value most in the game, if you just play it for the action you might want to pass.Is the new Dragon Age 2 DLC worth dusting my copy off?

For some reason I need to uninstall the DLC in Dragon Age 2. I tried to disable it then delete it from the directory folder. However, when I try to load my last saved game, errors occur that it cannot load because the DLC is not installed.

BioWare has recently updated the official Dragon Age II FAQ, revealing the minimum and recommended system requirements for the upcoming sequel, which is scheduled to launch on March 8 in North America and on March 11 in Europe.
Earlier today, BioWare announced “The Exiled Prince,” a DLC add-on that will be available for purchase on day one when the game releases. If you pre-order Dragon Age II before January 11, the DLC will be included free of charge along with a digital soundtrack and some exclusive in-game weapons. Ageless: In Orzammar before you pick a new king, click the king's throne, set three of your party members on pressure plates around the area, and use the fourth to click the throne again. Kill the dragon to get the Ageless legendary weapon.
Keening Blade: Successfully complete the "Unbound" quest. To start it, collect the journals from the following locations:
1. Adventurer's corpse in Ruined Temple on the "Urn Of Sacred Ashes" quest in the southwest corridor.
2. Brecilian Ruins' Lower Ruins in the south fire trap room.
3. Talk to an adventurer in Orzammar's Tapster's tavern.
4. Go to Denerim, then go to the dirty back alley, and fight the demon.
Marjorlaneses Recurve: Successfully complete Leliana's character quest.

If they do not stay naturally there's an option in your command menu to make them "stay".
A dragon will appear, defeat it and the item it yours.

Dragon age origin cheats?
I need help with a glitch on dragon age. Im using the duplicate glitch and its pissing me off. Its not that I cant do it but every time I do it to a tome I cant use it. I can have 40 of them and every time I click to use it, it does nothing. It really pisses me off now because before when I just owned 2 of the tomes without glitch it still is not working. Technical help with Dragon Age 2 and cheats? Characters are not talking in game.?
So I followed the instructions perfectly for the cheats to work, via gamefaqs.com.
The cheats work in the game perfectly, all of them. But if I have the -enabledeveloperconsole thing at the end of the Target of the shortcut, the characters don't talk in the game. Once I remove that thing on the Target, they speak perfectly fine.

I was having the same problem~ it seems that changing the key bindings doesn't work that well for windows 7 XD. What you need to do is open Dragon Age II and go to options and set your keybindings to DEFAULT, which will change your keybindings back to:

Why does dragon age 2 cheat at parts?
So ive been playing dragon age 2 and have noticed a pattern in improper leveling and enemy design. has anyone else had problems with the game cheating? it sets rules that u must play by like stamina magic health and basic physics and constantly breaks its own rules. for one i noticed at 3 major points only, like the giant dragon, sir templar on anders quest, and last straw quest with blood mage and shades. all having the same shitty qualities. there are way to many enemies that fight unfairly and use abilities that rnt seen or contract the rest of the game. the rest of the game is fun and has challenging parts but is pretty consistent, but these parts are not. they were made improperly and i can tell because i have done everything on my side to ensure my success. i am at the highest level, ive done all the quests, have all companions at max levels and and have outfitted myself and well as companions with best equipment, and have put runes, extra spell, and poisons on everything and everyone. i am just playing on regular too mind u. I also looked up guides and strategies to fight against these and the game defies what they say in the strategy . the rest of the game i go thru without restarting or dying except these 3 parts in which i die 99/100 times. is it a flaw in the game? i pause right before i die and notice over 20 enemies+ even after i took out a lot of the enemies, and each time they do attacks that defy the graphics such as automatic 180 or unstoppable and odd attacks that seem like someone digitally spitting in ur face, attacks hitting even when no where near, counting attacks as casted even thow they didnt work or use of health potions but no restoration of actual health and just plain dirty attacks that would be considered below the belt in any other circumstances. I just wanted to know how many others have struggled with these three parts. because the rest of the game has been pretty cake but it just seems to bottle neck at these parts and makes the game undesirable and leaves me discusted with the people responsible for this mess. it just seems like negligent game designing from the fat virgin game developers. i know its hard to make games and i accept inevitable flaws but with this aspect simply is unacceptable. sry ithis is kind of a vent to stop me from filling my game case with anthrax and resending it back to their studio with a **** u note attached to it. they made mass effect 2 one of the best games ever and to see this is just pathetic. just laziness and ignorance.Why does dragon age 2 cheat at parts?

How can I make money fast in origin stories in Dragon Age Origins?
Particularly, in either elvish origin or the human origin... (not counting mage origin)... Main reason is I'd like to use the camp shop reset exploit (the shop in the camp resets after your first visit to it immediately after leaving lothering, thus you can buy 2 copies of one of the skill books if you can afford one the first time you stop into the camp)
So yeah, I think I need like... 23 gold right away from the origin story + ostagar... Any particularly interesting strategies anyone have? I know the dwarf noble can get it easy due to the note of payment from lord dace, but I don't like playing dwarves, and greatly prefer playing as a human or elvish rogue. So yeah, anyone got any ideas or sneaky little loopholes/cheats? I play on the XBOX360 btw, in case that matters.How can I make money fast in origin stories in Dragon Age Origins?
The fastest way to make cash before you get to the camp is to do the "Traps are a girls best friend" quest (over and over). The quest begins from Allison, who is found in Lothering. If you're coming from the tavern, she is directly right and straight ahead. In order to do this quest, one of your characters will need the trap making skill, so it's best to prepare in advance (I give it to Allistar, since the main character will need to invest points in cohercion). Once you have the trap making skill, then go talk to her and you can get the quest. The quest requires you to make 3 spring traps, which can be easily made with 3 trap trigger (cost is 7.8 silver total to complete the quest). Completing the quest gives you 50 silver, so you profit 42.2 silver each time you do the quest. The 2nd time you talk to her, she will thank you but thats about it...but if you talk to her again, she will offer you the quest again. From this time on, she will always offer the quest (without garbage dialogue).
Barlin in the tavern sells an infinite stock of trap triggers, so you could keep doing the quest over and over getting cash for the camp items you want. This is always what I do (you can't get enough money for that stuff any other way unless you download extentions). Something to note, however. Each time you do the quest you get 100 experience. So by the time you can get ALL of the items, you will probably be level 16 or 17. I usually just buy the books, runes, and the spell resistant necklace (you'll be around level 12 by the time you have enough cash to do that--177 gold or so). In any case, have fun with this. You can also keep doing this quest as long as you like until you finish 1 of the main quests, which is when Lothering is destroyed by darkspawn.

Why do I have too much lag in Dragon Age Origins?
I've played it on my first playthrough and the lag wasn't really noticeable but now I get major lag, astoundingly unbelievable lag. I use the console cheats and those kind of stuff.

So I get one specialization point at level 7 and 14. So I'll only get to have 2 specialization for the whole game ? What's the best items in Dragon Age 2 ?

My best companions are Aveline,Fenris,Anders.
I got 144 golds. I heard there are better items in Act3. Would it be better to save more gold until then ?

My Hawke is a force mage + blood mage.
Got every skills for force mage but haven't upgraded any skills to advance it.
Got blood mages skill up to hemmaphorge something that deals damage.
I got elemental cone of cold and fire storm.
I got heal magic.
I usually use gravitic ring to slow enemies then cast fire storm.
After leveling up 1 more I'm gonna upgrade Hemorrhage to use fenris to stagger enemies
and then use Hemorrhage to deal 900% more damage, meaning it's 1800 damage to area enemies. =D
Fenris is just a damage dealer. He've got all two handed skills and all upgraded whirlwind skill.
Got Cleave. I usually use cleave then use whirl wind. That'll deal twice damage of whirlwind I guess. with even critical damage and then leading to stagger.
Aveline is a tank. She almost never dies but that's all. Low stamina so I got assault ,scatter

My Hawke is a force mage + blood mage.
Got every skills for force mage but haven't upgraded any skills to advance it.
Got blood mages skill up to hemmaphorge something that deals damage.
I got elemental cone of cold and fire storm.
I got heal magic.
I usually use gravitic ring to slow enemies then cast fire storm.
After leveling up 1 more I'm gonna upgrade Hemorrhage to use fenris to stagger enemies
and then use Hemorrhage to deal 900% more damage, meaning it's 1800 damage to area enemies. =D
Fenris is just a damage dealer. He've got all two handed skills and all upgraded whirlwind skill.
Got Cleave. I usually use cleave then use whirl wind. That'll deal twice damage of whirlwind I guess. with even critical damage and then leading to stagger.
Aveline is a tank. She almost never dies but that's all. Low stamina so I got assault ,scatter

Dragon Age 2 romance ?
Can I romance more than 1 people like in DAO ? What happens if I cheat ? I'm a male and gonna go gay romance cheating. lol
I tried the heart shaped romance options but there was no romance kiss or sex available. I'm not even sure if I can do it just like in DAO. Just talking to companion and choosing romance sex ,kiss etc.
And how do I know I increased how much romance points or something ? I wanna both Fenris and Anders. =D Anders is the cute one with pounce a lot but Fenris has that dark mystery past and sexy voice. lolDragon Age 2 romance ?
The romances are a little different as far as what is tolerable to each character. It is possible to romance both Fenris and Anders to a certain degree, but there will be a break point at which you must decide who to give up in that regard.
Remember:
* Fenris and Anders hate each other
* Fenris is harder to 'lock down' in a permanent relationship
* It doesn't matter if you pursue a friendly romance, or a rival romance - they will work more or less the same.
* You can flirt with anyone, but at some point you will be confronted with making a choice about the relationship by the companion unless it's Varric, Aveline or Sebastian. None of them can actually be romanced completely, but uncommitted flirts are possible.
* Once you have maxed out a relationship (friend or rival), it will not change.
With Fenris and Anders, here is the general working strategy:
Act 1 -
Flirt with both of them, decide and build on your relationship score. If you want to rival one and friend the other, keep them both in the party while doing and saying things that support the friend's cause while gaining rivalry with the other. Since they hate each other, this is the easiest method.
If you want to friend both, then keep both in the party and rival/disagree with Merril for her quests, or anything which involves beating up demons and bloodmages. It's the only topic Fenris/Anders will agree on and both gain friendship for. Otherwise, keep them separate when doing each of their quests.
Act 2 -
By the beginning of the Act, you should have Anders and Fenris well on the way to friendship or rivalry. Start off Act 2 in the Alienage at night and loot the sacks to find a book gift for Fenris. Give it to him to gain some more relationship points. Do all the companion quests that involve him and work on your score some more. Ignore all of Anders companion quests for now. Work on general stuff or Fenris. Don't leave the city until you have done Fenris' Questioning Beliefs' quest, and flirted with him some more. Once you reach Sundermount or the Wounded Coast, you will be confonted by slavers looking for Fenris. If you are rivaling him, tell him you have other things to do than chase after slavers. When you run into the slavers the second time, you can argue with him, but when he says he's going with or without you, go with him. When you encounter a slave, send her to your home, and when Fenris gets mad, tell him you gave her a job. Let him choose Hadriana's fate - he'll leave the party and go back to your home. If your relationship is well along you will hit the romance scene then, or by not choosing the Don't Go option, push it off until the next time you enter your house.
After, Fenris is going to wig out a little. If you only intend to go after Anders from this point, it doesn't matter how you respond to Fenris, but positive only responses leaves Fenris as an option in Act 3 only if you don't sleep with anyone else.
Otherwise, continue on to Anders' quests. Give him the Tevinter amulet gift you found on Fenris'' quest, and do his Questioning Beliefs before heading under the Gallows to do the Tranquil Solution/Dissent quest. At the end of the last battle, you must pick the star option in dialog to prevent Justice from doing something Anders will regret. Either way, Anders leaves the party and can be found in the clinic.
Talk to him in the clinic, go for options to build the relationship score if you still need to, flirt or not... but if you choose to yell at him, don't let him leave Kirkwall. Just make sure he gets the papers you looted from Ser. Alrick's body. After this conversation, talk to him again to get the chat that starts with "What are you doing?/Setting out milk" and then flirt with him twice in a row to get jumped. The next time you return to your mansion, feel free to tell Anders whatever you like about Fenris. This is the last chance to stay with Fenris for Act 3 by yelling at Anders for putting him down, or get on the Anders romance train by lying or the truth and say that it's over and you/Fenris broke up.
Once you sleep with Anders, Merrill or Isabela, the Fenris romance is dead, though you can still max your relationship with him and he'll stay a companion no matter what your choices are in Act 3. The Anders romance does not complete until you choose to 'stand by your man' at the end of Act 3.
Yes, Fenris does have the ridiculously uber voice. Anders used to, but that actor played both Cullen and Anders in DAO/DAO:A and the decision was for him to play Cullen in DA2 and the part of Anders went to someone else. I am afraid you can't 'cheat' , somewhere in the game, the romance option that is going on will be set, from that point on, in the ending for DA 2 there is no turning back and the romance scene will happen between you and the chosen romance person.
You can switch before this point, but you can't romance more then one at a time, only flirt with multiple and have sex with them once, when doing this cheating on the other.
For your other question: go to the stats screen of your characters, you'll have to have a 100% rivalry or 100% friendship for the romance to work in the ending part of the story. So flirt when you have the chanche and up up up with the rivalry and friendship percentage.

Fast Gold in Dragon age 2?
I need some help in dragon age 2. I don't want to cheat at all by duplicating items but I want to get some of the great items in the Black Emporium. Do I really just have to do a ton of side quests?Fast Gold in Dragon age 2?
There is a glitch in the game that when you perform one of the misc. quests where you return items you can get unlimited gold and xp. Before returning the item unsheath your weapon, then when your pc resheathes it interact with the item's owner. Keep interacting with the npc until you are satisfied with your xp and gold. If you mess up it can be performed mulitple times throughout all the acts.

Dragon age origin cheats?

BioWare has recently updated the official Dragon Age II FAQ, revealing the minimum and recommended system requirements for the upcoming sequel, which is scheduled to launch on March 8 in North America and on March 11 in Europe.
Earlier today, BioWare announced “The Exiled Prince,” a DLC add-on that will be available for purchase on day one when the game releases. If you pre-order Dragon Age II before January 11, the DLC will be included free of charge along with a digital soundtrack and some exclusive in-game weapons. Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding legendary weapon:
Ageless: In Orzammar before you pick a new king, click the king's throne, set three of your party members on pressure plates around the area, and use the fourth to click the throne again. Kill the dragon to get the Ageless legendary weapon.
Keening Blade: Successfully complete the "Unbound" quest. To start it, collect the journals from the following locations:
1. Adventurer's corpse in Ruined Temple on the "Urn Of Sacred Ashes" quest in the southwest corridor.
2. Brecilian Ruins' Lower Ruins in the south fire trap room.
3. Talk to an adventurer in Orzammar's Tapster's tavern.

Technical help with Dragon Age 2 and cheats? Characters are not talking in game.?
So I followed the instructions perfectly for the cheats to work, via gamefaqs.com.
The cheats work in the game perfectly, all of them. But if I have the -enabledeveloperconsole thing at the end of the Target of the shortcut, the characters don't talk in the game. Once I remove that thing on the Target, they speak perfectly fine.
Is there anyway I can just fix the game so that I can do some cheats and still have the characters talk?Technical help with Dragon Age 2 and cheats? Characters are not talking in game.?

Right click on Dragon Age 2 shortcut, and click on “Properties”, and then add the “-enabledeveloperconsole” command line at end of the “Target” field. Make sure you add space before the command line. when i do this, it wont let me edit anything in the "target" area. someone please explain why and how to fix this.Need help cheating on dragon age 2?

Why does dragon age 2 cheat at parts?
So ive been playing dragon age 2 and have noticed a pattern in improper leveling and enemy design. has anyone else had problems with the game cheating? it sets rules that u must play by like stamina magic health and basic physics and constantly breaks its own rules. for one i noticed at 3 major points only, like the giant dragon, sir templar on anders quest, and last straw quest with blood mage and shades. all having the same shitty qualities. there are way to many enemies that fight unfairly and use abilities that rnt seen or contract the rest of the game. the rest of the game is fun and has challenging parts but is pretty consistent, but these parts are not. they were made improperly and i can tell because i have done everything on my side to ensure my success. i am at the highest level, ive done all the quests, have all companions at max levels and and have outfitted myself and well as companions with best equipment, and have put runes, extra spell, and poisons on everything and everyone. i am just playing on regular too mind u. I also looked up guides and strategies to fight against these and the game defies what they say in the strategy . the rest of the game i go thru without restarting or dying except these 3 parts in which i die 99/100 times. is it a flaw in the game? i pause right before i die and notice over 20 enemies+ even after i took out a lot of the enemies, and each time they do attacks that defy the graphics such as automatic 180 or unstoppable and odd attacks that seem like someone digitally spitting in ur face, attacks hitting even when no where near, counting attacks as casted even thow they didnt work or use of health potions but no restoration of actual health and just plain dirty attacks that would be considered below the belt in any other circumstances. I just wanted to know how many others have struggled with these three parts. because the rest of the game has been pretty cake but it just seems to bottle neck at these parts and makes the game undesirable and leaves me discusted with the people responsible for this mess. it just seems like negligent game designing from the fat virgin game developers. i know its hard to make games and i accept inevitable flaws but with this aspect simply is unacceptable. sry ithis is kind of a vent to stop me from filling my game case with anthrax and resending it back to their studio with a **** u note attached to it. they made mass effect 2 one of the best games ever and to see this is just pathetic. just laziness and ignorance.Why does dragon age 2 cheat at parts?
