How can I make money fast in origin stories in Dragon Age Origins?

Particularly, in either elvish origin or the human origin... (not counting mage origin)... Main reason is I'd like to use the camp shop reset exploit (the shop in the camp resets after your first visit to it immediately after leaving lothering, thus you can buy 2 copies of one of the skill books if you can afford one the first time you stop into the camp)



So yeah, I think I need like... 23 gold right away from the origin story + ostagar... Any particularly interesting strategies anyone have? I know the dwarf noble can get it easy due to the note of payment from lord dace, but I don't like playing dwarves, and greatly prefer playing as a human or elvish rogue. So yeah, anyone got any ideas or sneaky little loopholes/cheats? I play on the XBOX360 btw, in case that matters.How can I make money fast in origin stories in Dragon Age Origins?
The fastest way to make cash before you get to the camp is to do the "Traps are a girls best friend" quest (over and over). The quest begins from Allison, who is found in Lothering. If you're coming from the tavern, she is directly right and straight ahead. In order to do this quest, one of your characters will need the trap making skill, so it's best to prepare in advance (I give it to Allistar, since the main character will need to invest points in cohercion). Once you have the trap making skill, then go talk to her and you can get the quest. The quest requires you to make 3 spring traps, which can be easily made with 3 trap trigger (cost is 7.8 silver total to complete the quest). Completing the quest gives you 50 silver, so you profit 42.2 silver each time you do the quest. The 2nd time you talk to her, she will thank you but thats about it...but if you talk to her again, she will offer you the quest again. From this time on, she will always offer the quest (without garbage dialogue).

Barlin in the tavern sells an infinite stock of trap triggers, so you could keep doing the quest over and over getting cash for the camp items you want. This is always what I do (you can't get enough money for that stuff any other way unless you download extentions). Something to note, however. Each time you do the quest you get 100 experience. So by the time you can get ALL of the items, you will probably be level 16 or 17. I usually just buy the books, runes, and the spell resistant necklace (you'll be around level 12 by the time you have enough cash to do that--177 gold or so). In any case, have fun with this. You can also keep doing this quest as long as you like until you finish 1 of the main quests, which is when Lothering is destroyed by darkspawn.

If you don't mind using glitches then put one expensive item in your junk, go to a vendor, go to your junk folder and press A and Y at the same time which are the buttons for sell item and sell all junk, it will glitch and sell twice, then buy it back and do it again and again and watch your gold rise without doing any quests or wasting time.
