How to use dragon age T legacy dlc pack?

so i completed dragon age 2 when it was releashed, and kept the save game. Now a new dlc hasbeen releashed and i downloaded that too and installd. But when i stary the game and resume it, my charecter just gose to hwak state and that's it. I cant go to any map locations, i cant use the writing desk, there is clearly showing a task but, when i go to writing desk, there is no letters or any task. What do i have to do to play the dlc?? To play legacy, you have to go to a statue type, thing, that is in the Hawke estate. check the big room thats at the left from where you enter the house, go upstairs, and then you can start playing legacy when you click on the statueHow to use dragon age T legacy dlc pack?
There should be TWO quest markers in the Hawke estate. One is the writing desk, and disregard that. Go to the other quest marker, which should be up the stairs near Sandal, and you should see a griffon statue. If you click on it, the game will ask you "Would you like to play dragon age legacy?" If there's only one quest marker in the estate, and it's the reading desk, make sure the DLC downloaded completely and correctly. If you have done that, try to start a new game. The statue is in Gamlen's house in Act 1 of the game. If that STILL doesn't work, you may need to reinstall.
