My friend downloaded The Black Emporium for Dragon Age 2 (for Xbox 360) on my Xbox (but with her HDD) and it works online and offline - on my Xbox with her HDD.
If the HDD is placed in HER Xbox, the DLC only works online. When the Ethernet is unplugged, the game claims the DLC is "corrupt" - clearly it isn't because it works with various other setups.
I read one solution, which is to delete the DLC and reinstall it. Will that be safe? Won't the redemption code say it's been used?
Please submit solutions ASAP.The Black Emporium DLC Offline Issue...?
The solution is to transfer her licences. All DLC have licenses that connect it to the profile and console it was bought on. Since she was on your 360 when she bought it, the license is on your 360. She needs to go here http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Support/Licens鈥?/a> and follow the steps to move the license over. She will need access to an internet connection on her 360 while she does it. In the future, make sure she brings her entire 360 over if she wants to download something else using your internet.
