Dragon Age: Origins DLC & Expansion?

I'm still playing through the game for the first time, and I'm wondering if I should get any of the DLC or expansion.



Normally I would wait for the second playthrough, but I've got 2 reasons I think I should do it now:

-Game is hella long. IDK if I'll want to play it again.

-I got the Dog killed (whoops), and it says on a Wikipedia that you have another chance to get the Dog in the Astagar DLC.Dragon Age: Origins DLC %26amp; Expansion?
Most of the DLC adds some nice items but none are necesscary.



Warden's Keep adds an amazing suit of armor for Tanks and Rogues and the best weapon in the game (Starfang)



Stone Prisoner adds Shale a golem character who's pretty good and is fully integrated with conversations in the game already.



Return to Ostagar adds a really good suit of tanking armor and a few good weapons.



Don't get the expansion until you beat the game.
